Don’t Forget: Swing’n to Squares Community Dance this Friday

Get Out, Bring Friends, Support Folklife and Mount Baker Community Club

Friday, February 24, 7:30 – 11:00 pm
RSVP on Facebook>>

Northwest Folklife and the Mount Baker Community Club are pleased to announce a FREE community dance!

This FREE event will feature fantastic music and dancing by two wonderful community groups. Trio A Propos will get your toes tapping and your body moving to swing, blues, honky-tonk and more with their smooth jazzy music and the dulcet vocals of Tony Mates.

The Tallboys will keep you dancing as Charmaine Slaven calls out the moves to the rocking square dances, while she plays and clogs. She makes it fun and easy to join in, whether you have square danced before or not.

It’s going to be a kickin’ night! Come on out ready to dance, party and have FUN!!

Bring your checkbooks and dream a little. There will be opportunities to support both organizations. Any donations made that evening will be “gratefully accepted, not expected!”

Fabulous door prizes include:
T S McHugh’s gift certificate
